Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) is the latest version of Epic Games’ popular game engine and development platform. It builds upon the success of its predecessors, UE4 and UE3, and introduces several new features and improvements that make it even more powerful and versatile.
Hardware Requirements
To run UE5, you will need a computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM, an Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX 8350 processor, and an Nvidia GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 290 graphics card. However, for optimal performance, Epic recommends using a high-end computer with at least 16GB RAM, an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 9 3900X processor, and an Nvidia RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon VII graphics card.
UE5 also supports virtual reality (VR) development, so if you plan on creating VR games or experiences, you will need a computer with at least 16GB RAM, an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 9 3900X processor, and an Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti or AMD Radeon VII graphics card.

UE5 also requires certain graphics drivers and APIs, such as OpenGL 4.6 or higher, OpenVR SDK, and SteamVR SDK. If you plan on developing for mobile devices, you will need Unreal Engine Mobile SDK and Android Studio.
